SECRETARY REPORT:  Minutes approved as presented.

TREASURER REPORT:  Financial Report approved as presented.

LUMINARY FESTIVAL REPORT:  Video presented and enjoyed by those attending.

TOWN REPORT:  Town Council meeting will be an organizational meeting. Fire Department to purchase unit for $904,000 with savings of $200,000. Water well construction to begin this week with expectation of being on line by June or July.

PROGRAM: Presented by Marla Asberry, Lead Outreach & Enrollment Specialist, Open Door Health Services. Discussed aspects of Affordable Care Act, stating that open enrollment ends Feb. 15. Last year there were very few options for care for those below poverty level and now there are affordable options for families and others who need medical coverage.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Update on progress for Four for the Fourth; Kiwanis doing taxes at the Yorktown Library, Feb. 5, Open Door Services will also be at the library assisting with insurance enrollment; Tax assistance will also be offered at Yorktown Library on Feb. 19, and March 5; East Central Social Media Group will meet Feb. 19, at Innovation Connector, 8-10 a.m., breakfast provided; First Annual Festival will be held at Mellott Center, Nazarene Church,  which includes a block party with entertainment on May 2; Park Board will be looking into options for providing activities that will provide continuity of events between the run and fireworks events, invitations offered to be involved in the park board; Atlas Collection ribbon cutting ceremony to be held Jan. 28, 4.30 p.m.; Last enrollment event for insurance with Open Door will be partnered with Meridian Services and held at 333 S. Madison St., Muncie on Feb, 7.

KUDOS TO: Ray Stinson on Tiger Drive who used his snow blower to clear off sidewalks on the bridge for students who walk to school; Carolyn Grieves who donated six trees for the park.
